This well-known park is named Lakeside Park. The popularity of its famous teddy bear statue has renamed the local neighborhood for locals all over DFW, but you’ll find directions and information much easier. While 14 acres total encompasses this gorgeous scenery along Turtle Creek, the most popular spot being an enormous stone sculpture that stands proudly in front lawns, perfect landscaping awaits everywhere.

Teddy Bear Park is a hidden gem in the middle of busy Beverly Drive and Armstrong Parkway. The park’s pathways are clean, its view gorgeous, it truly offers something for everyone. The pathways are lined with different decorative items like fountains, small waterfalls, and benches if you need a break. The Shenandoah City Park is a great place to spend an afternoon with friends, family, or pets. Shenandoah is a community on Interstate Highway 45 nine miles south of Conroe in Southern Montgomery County. It’s typical for bedroom communities that have proliferated northward since the 1960s, as it lies near one such development known originally as Shenandoah Valley. When the community was incorporated, it attracted large numbers of Houstonians seeking lower real estate prices and tax rates. It became known as Shenandoah in 1974 because its boundaries included much land that is currently within The Woodlands area, Texas, including a commercial center there.

By the late 1970s, Shenandoah had an estimated population of 876. But by 1980 it grew to 1,793, even though there were some regional setbacks during this period that caused a small downswing in growth for their townspeople.
